The HOBO Club, Loughton

Interior design of a new members' club in Loughton. The club features a cocktail bar, flexible workspace, private rooms, unisex bathrooms and a multi-functional events and cinema lounge.

Positioned a short walk from both Epping Forest and Loughton's Central line station, the interior draws on the club's dual identity - between London's largest ancient woodland and the energy of The City. Raw, irregular surfaces and layered, organic textures are balanced by sparkling chandeliers and refined finishes. Original architectural features, including bank vaults from the building's former life, have been preserved and woven into the design.
